Event Rules

Students participating in the event must adhere to the dress code. The dress code is as follows: male participants are required to wear formal suits with ties. Female participants should wear a formal suit with a skirt and jacket of appropriate length or dresses/skirts. The organization reserves the right to refuse entry to any participant dressed inappropriately. Inappropriate clothing includes: sports shoes, open-toed shoes, casual accessories, jeans, clothing with political elements, national costumes, or military uniforms.

There are five committees in our event, with an average of 30 students planned to participate in each committee. Each student will represent a single person or country within their committee. The person or country that each participant will represent at the conference will be determined and announced before the event, organized by our school.

At Model United Nations (MUN) conferences, the rules are designed to simulate the functioning of the United Nations and to provide an environment conducive to healthy discussion. Each committee has a court responsible for ensuring that the proceedings follow the established rules. The main members of the court are the Committee Chair, the Vice Chair, and the Academic Secretary.

Adherence to and respect for the rules of procedure throughout all stages of the discussion is crucial for a successful MUN experience.
