PROCEDURE
General Information of Procedure of Conference

Our conference will follow the Harvard Model United Nations (MUN) procedure.
Each session typically begins with a roll call to verify the presence of representatives. The committee then moves on to the stage of determining the agenda, followed by a series of official processes. Delegates deliver pre-planned speeches in sequence, propose resolutions, and engage in discussions. All speeches, motions, and decisions must be made formally and adhere to established procedural rules. Throughout the conference, delegates are expected to follow parliamentary procedures, maintain proper etiquette, and accurately and diplomatically represent the positions of their assigned countries.
When the discussion and collaboration within each committee are completed, each committee is responsible for preparing a “Resolution Paper” on its specific issues and submitting it for evaluation. After submission, the “Resolution Paper” may undergo further discussion and revision if necessary. Delegates may propose changes, including during the voting process. A decision is typically adopted by a majority vote. Following the decision vote, there may be additional rounds of discussion on any remaining issues or decisions.
The conference concludes with the committee chairs delivering closing statements and awards being presented to outstanding delegates based on their performance throughout the conference.
